At home in the Roman provinces

It has been 1,500 years since the Roman Empire’s demise, but the provinces are still around us – in their names! Look at this photo: it hides two references to the province located in what is now western Hungary: the abbey in the background and the motorbike in the front!

Each image in the slider below hides the name of a Roman province or larger territory. Look at the photos: most will guide you to the answers themselves, but sometimes you may need to do a little research to get the solutions.

Which image hides Pannonia, Britannia, Hispania, Arabia, Dacia, Aegyptus, Africa, and Gallia? If you need help, use the hints given below the photos.

Be careful: you may need to write the same province twice (and remember that we are looking for Latin names)!
